Assistant Coach, Eastern University Men's Soccer

Dan DeMasters joins the Easten University Men's Soccer staff for 2010. DeMasters comes to Eastern following his playing career at Villanova. He brings a passion for the game and an outstanding ability to communicate with current players. He loves teaching the game and has the ability to help young players to raise their level.

The Lancaster, Pa. native was recruited to Villanova as one of the most decorated high school players of his era. A perenial presence on the Region I squad, DeMasters traveled extensively in Europe, and was a three-time high school All-American. In his senior year at Manheim Township he was selected as the Gatorade Player of the Year for Pennsylvania.

DeMasters serves as the Director of Soccer Operations. In that role, he will be involved in instruction in practice, preparation for gamedays, and coordination for purchasing and travel.

At Eastern, he is pursuing a Masters in Education with the goal of becoming a High School Math Teacher.
