Mike Hurley

Assistant Coach, Lafayette College Men's Soccer

Also in his first season with the Leopards, Michael Hurley has a wealth of coaching experience at the youth level.

He is currently a member of the NJSA 04 (New Jersey Soccer Academy) coaching staff. NJSA is a USSF Developmental Academy Club. Hurley previously spent three years with the Ocean Soccer Club. His other coaching experiences include working with the Neptune Soccer Club and at the Northwestern University College Soccer Training Center.

Hurley had both a standout high school and collegiate playing career. He was an All-State player at Neptune High School (N.J.) where he won the 1981 state championship and is a member of Neptune's Athletics Hall of Fame. He attended Richard Stockton College and was a four-year starter and team captain. He earned All-NJAC honors twice during his career and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Computer Science.

Currently, Hurley is a senior account manager at Global Crossing and has worked in telecommunications for over 20 years. He has two children, Kyle and Shane, and resides in Wall, N.J.
